Power Tools:
Greenworks is among the leaders within the battery-powered yard tools genre. I personally own the hedge trimmer and have been very impressed by it’s power and longevity of the battery. They have a plethora of tools on Prime Deals this year, and you’ll want to score something with this deep discount. Click here to find your new perfect yard tool!
The Mini Chainsaw is one of the most wish-listed powertool for gardeners! These things are incredibly handy and easily used by women and older gardeners since it’s so lightweight but can cut very thick branches with ease.
EGO Portable Power & Lawn tools! I’m sure you’ve seen this brand around for a while. Their large battery capacity is impressive, and as you can see in the reviews, many people own and LOVE their EGO tools. I definitely think they’re worth looking into. Click here to see what Prime Deals they have on EGO.
HOSES:
Giraffe retractable hoses have been on my personal radar for a minute. I love the idea of a self-retracting hose. It makes it easy to keep patio areas clear when it will store itself right inside the reel. They have a 1/2″ option, and also a 5/8″ option, along with 2 different colors and different hose lengths to choose from.
CARTS:
Carts or wagons in the garden are a game-changer! They make it so much easier to get things to an from project areas and make it easier on your body to get things done. These carts are is similar to the one I have and I have loved it. I know one of these will make your work much easier!
PEST CONTROL:
If you battle pests such as deer or your neighbor’s cat in your garden, a motion activated sprinkler might be a good idea to try to deter them. Many times the animals are scared off my the initial noise, and most of them also don’t love to get wet.
WEEDING:
If you don’t have some sort of a stirrup hoe in your weeding repertoire, you need one! When you keep your weeds small and take them out quickly, you’re removing it’s chance to spread seeds for future issues. These are great variations on the stirrup and they both work great!
SEED STARTING:
If you haven’t taken the deep dive into seed starting, there is no time like the present to do it! The main reason I love to start my own seeds is the variety that you get access to in seeds vs. getting started plants from a greenhouse. It can also become a bit of a money-making venture if you start enough of them to sell to friends and neighbors, which can pay for your whole seed budget for the year.
When you start seeds indoors, you will need supplemental lighting to keep your seeds growing correctly until they are hardened off and planted outdoors after your last frost. These lights look like they would be a great option!
Heat mats are another great thing to have on hand for seed starting. My personal success with starting my own seeds sky rocketed once I implemented one of these into my system.
These markers are NOT on Prime Deals, but if you’re looking for something that won’t fade from your tags through the year, these are a must have for seed starting and garden marking:
GROW BAGS:
Grow bags are an amazing option for people who can’t plant in-ground, but also don’t have the funds to do raised garden beds or pots. If that sounds like your type of a situation, these of bags might be the perfect option for you to get started on a garden of your own. They come in multiple different sizes for different needs as well.
HAND TOOLS:
A good hand tool can make or break your gardening experience. Enter the Hori Hori! This multi-tool is a must have for any gardener that wants ease in planting, weeding and harvesting all year long.
You likely already have a pair of pruning shears you love, but they may be getting a little harder to use. Don’t throw them out! Having one of these easy to use sharpening tools in your tool bag makes them cut like new again. I just took the time to go through all mine last week and sharpen the edge on them all.
GLOVES:
My very favorite gloves aren’t on Prime Deals this year, but these bamboo ones are a close second favorite of mine. I love that they hold up well in weeding and yard work, yet they are thin enough to feel things well when it comes to weeding.
TRELLISING:
Through the years, I’ve figured out what works well for me when it comes to trellising, and what was a flop. The tomato twine that I use now isn’t on Prime Deals this year, but I have used both of these options in years past and think they’re great options if you’re trellising them onto stakes or from line hanging from a line above:
This is great reels to use to trellis from above:
And these are what I used to attach the vines to the line:
RELAXING:
When it’s WAY too hot to be working in the garden, I get in some nature therapy and vitamin D by laying in this tanning pool in the garden to cool off! Trust me, you won’t regret this one!
CONCLUSION:
There are a LOT of great deals on Prime this week, but these are among the most useful ones, in my opinion. These are things I have, or wish I had and I know you will love using them too. To browse ALL that Prime has to offer in the Patio, Lawn & Garden sector, click the button below:
